English Translation
"From the Non-Ultimate (Wuji) comes the Supreme Ultimate (Taiji). The Taiji sets in motion and generates Yang; when the activity reaches its limit, it becomes tranquil. Through tranquility, it generates Yin; when tranquility reaches its limit, motion returns. Motion and tranquility are the root of each other; the separation of Yin and Yang establishes the Two Modes (Liangyi)."
