This is a Chinese decorative porcelain vase with people's scenery painted on the surface. It is a Republic of China period style item, with a bit of a Western accent, and a bit of a traditional Chinese Ming-Qing period theme.  A golden-colored foo dog head shaped motif is added as a distinguished accent.
