This art glass sculpture depicts Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion, seated in a posture of serene contemplation. Cast in a translucent, frosted cerulean blue with a luminous ice-like quality, the figure is framed by an elaborate mandorla of stylized lotus leaves and flowing waves that cascade around the base. The delicate interplay of frosted and polished textures captures light from every angle, highlighting the tranquil facial expression, graceful robes, and intricate floral detailing with a sense of ethereal depth.
