This is a Chinese calligraphic ink stick which has two-sided motifs. One side is carved with a relief motif of ancient Chinese people gathering scenery and the other side is Chinese characters description the scene, they both are painted with matte golden color. It can be used as a decoration piece or ink for painting or writing.
