This is a traditional-style Chinese pillow with a hollow center. Outside is valuable Chinese rosewood pieces - Huanghuali - which are joined by an elastic string. The result is a comfortable bouncing soft effect on the pillow. It is also a collectible piece because of the charm of rosewood.
