This is a hand made oriental red color (Chinese Imari Style pattern ) ceramic birdcage shape display figure. It was one of the popular ceramic export commodities in the 20th century. The design is a mix of western and eastern with a hint of imagination and artistic skill.

The two characters You xian 有閒 when together means "Living alone" or "In retirement" why the combination is usually translated as "retreat". The two last characters Jian Zhi means "Overseen and Produced (Make)". The porcelain most likely dates to the second half of the 20th century.
