This green glass sculpture features a seated Buddha in a meditative pose atop an ornate lotus pedestal. Crafted with a frosted, luminous finish, the piece glows with rich emerald and soft mint hues that give it a serene, translucent quality. The Buddha is depicted with eyes gently closed in tranquil contemplation, holding a sacred jewel or sphere resting in merged hands, while a chest-embellished sauwastika symbol sits gracefully beneath flowing robes. Framing the figure is a flame-shaped mandala backdrop, intricately relief-carved with traditional Buddhist auspicious symbols—including a pagoda, Dharma wheel, endless knot, lotus, and conch shell—encircled by swirling cloud motifs that continue onto the detailed reverse side.
