This charming glazed ceramic figurine depicts a joyful, bald Laughing Buddha with a gleaming, smooth brown finish and a radiant, open-mouthed smile. He is draped in a light celadon green blue robe that flows down his back and pools around his base, contrasting nicely with the earthy brown tones of his body. Draped across his chest is a long string of prayer beads, and his prominent, rounded belly is fully exposed. In his right hand, he holds a small round object, while his left hand lifts a traditional Chinese coin embellished with a decorative bat motif. Viewed from behind, the figurine showcases the sleek, polished sweep of the vibrant green robe curving smoothly upward to meet the back of his bald head.
