On the reverse side, the jar transitions to a minimalist aesthetic, showcasing a clean white glaze accented by calligraphic inscriptions. The vertical Chinese characters read "光緒十年" (Guangxu Shinian), indicating the tenth year of the Guangxu Emperor's reign (circa 1884), though such marks are also commonly found on later 20th-century tributes.
