This exquisite vintage Chinese framed porcelain plaque features a vertical blue-and-white landscape scene housed within a rich, dark-toned carved wooden frame. The central porcelain panel depicts a serene, traditional mountain vista with towering craggy peaks, winding rivers, tranquil water vessels, and an intricate multi-tiered pavilion nestled amongst lush pine trees. Delicate calligraphy characters and artist seals grace the upper left corner of the plaque, adding an authentic scholar's touch to the composition. The surrounding wooden frame is masterfully pierced and open-worked with classical scrolling leaf and lattice motifs, complemented by a decorative ruyi-shaped metal hanger at the top.
