This vintage Chinese porcelain box features a lobed, rectangular silhouette delicately painted in vibrant famille rose enamels. The domed cover depicts a detailed courtyard scene with figures gathered near a pavilion and overlooking a tranquil garden landscape with blue rockwork and water. The sides of the box are adorned with lush flowering branches, blossoming pink and white peonies, and colorful exotic birds perched among foliage.  Rich tones of rose pink, soft green, cobalt blue, and yellow highlight the intricate hand-painted motifs, bordered by delicate floral bands.
