This vintage wooden presentation box features a lid face finished in a light, tea-stained parchment tone, accented by a central embroidered silk roundel. The roundel displays a vibrant blue ground with a golden "Shou" longevity character, encircled by stylized floral motifs in crimson and jade green. Above the embroidery, three bold Chinese characters read 乾清宮 (Qiánqīng Gōng), identifying it as the Palace of Heavenly Purity within the Forbidden City, while the bottom is marked with corresponding Manchu script.

Constructed with traditional box joints, the dark-stained timber case opens to reveal a padded interior lined in a neutral, olive-toned fabric, designed to protect delicate artifacts or ceramics. The exterior patina, characterized by scattered foxing and aged wood grains, lends the piece a distinctive scholarly and historical character.
