This naturalistic scholar’s rock or table sculpture is carved from a dark, rustic stone matrix designed to resemble an weathered tree stump or rock face. Across its front face, vivid deep green jade or stone overlays are intricately carved to depict cascading foliage, clusters of fruit, and a prominent, detailed cicada resting along the side. The reverse side showcases a plain, organic texture with earthy brown and mossy undertones, along with a small carved circular detail on the side. The stone piece rests inside a custom-fitted, warm-toned wooden display stand featuring a miniature carved balustrade or fence perimeter surrounding the base.
